About this opportunity
The Smoky Hill Metropolitan District, located in Centennial, Arapahoe County, Colorado, is seeking a comprehensive contractor to replace monuments and signage throughout the district. The procurement involves graphic design services to edit an existing logo, monument construction using rock or rock facade materials, and installation of park signage on weatherproof wood or brick. Key deliverables include laser-etched monuments of varying sizes, some of which may need integration with existing fences, and park signage that aligns with the district's new branding. The project requires a turnkey solution from a single vendor who can manage the entire scope, including obtaining necessary permits from the City of Centennial. Specific requirements include creating adaptive design solutions that accommodate different monument sizes and locations, with an emphasis on creative problem-solving. The contract opportunity was posted on October 27, 2025, with a response deadline of November 21, 2025, indicating a relatively short procurement timeline of approximately 25 days.
While no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent types were explicitly mentioned in the documentation, the district appears to be seeking a versatile contractor capable of handling multiple project components. The tax exempt form included suggests the Smoky Hill Metro District has established financial infrastructure, which may benefit potential bidders. No incumbent vendor information was provided, nor were specific budget ranges or award values disclosed in the available documentation. The district's tax exemption certificate, issued on August 5, 2020, indicates potential financial considerations for the project. The procurement emphasizes a preference for a comprehensive, one-stop solution, suggesting that firms with multidisciplinary capabilities in graphic design, monument construction, and municipal permitting would be most competitive. Potential bidders are encouraged to register with the Bidnetdirect System to access additional project documentation and ensure full compliance with procurement requirements.
Opportunity text
We are looking to replace our monuments and signs throughout the entire Smoky Hill Metropolitan District. We have a mock up of a logo and will need a graphic designer to edit it into correct format to be used. We are looking to build rock or rock facia on existing monuments, and laser the new logo. The monuments will be varying sizes, and some may have to be built onto the exisiting fences where there is not room to build freestanding. Park signage will likely need to be on a weather proof wood or brick, smaller than the stone monuments. We are open to ideas for the right plan of action. We ideally are looking for one stop shopping to give us a bid to complete the entire project. We will also need you to make sure the project is permitted correctly with the city of Centennial.
