About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure a specific monitor, specifically a 10.4" LCD monitor manufactured by Tru-Vu Monitors Inc, referenced under solicitation number 2095713. The procurement opportunity was posted on October 8, 2025, with proposals due by October 13, 2025. Potential vendors must complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access detailed bidding information and project specifications. The procurement requires vendors to submit bids with FOB Destination shipping terms, ensuring freight costs are included in the overall pricing. DART has established stringent delivery requirements, emphasizing that time and delivery rates are critical, with potential for rejection and default termination if seller fails to meet specified delivery parameters. Invoicing must follow specific guidelines, including submission to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate with comprehensive documentation such as purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The procurement opportunity appears to be open to all qualified vendors, with no explicit set-aside designations or restrictions mentioned in the available documentation. DART's terms and conditions include important provisions such as payment terms of Net 30, tax exemption for Texas state and local sales taxes, and requirements for equal opportunity and non-discrimination. Vendors must certify they are not on lists of companies with contracts with foreign terrorist organizations and do not boycott Israel. While specific award value or budget range is not explicitly stated, the procurement appears focused on a specific monitor with precise technical specifications. The contract will be governed under Texas state law, with potential for termination under default or convenience clauses. Interested vendors must carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, which provides comprehensive details about contractual expectations, operational requirements, and potential dispute resolution mechanisms.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
