About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is procuring a new microbox with processor (A-End) under Purchase Order 2097953, posted on February 9, 2026, with a submission deadline of February 20, 2026. This is a equipment procurement requiring vendors to provide a microbox unit complete with an integrated processor meeting DART's specifications. All bids must be submitted through the BONFIRE registration system, where vendors can access detailed project specifications and submit responses via the in-browser BidTable. Freight must be quoted on an FOB Destination basis with all shipping costs included in the total price, and delivery timelines are identified as essential to the order, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be made under Net 30 terms, calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt. All vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment requirements, certify no pecuniary interest exists with DART officials, and demonstrate compliance with the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list and Israel non-boycott requirements.

The opportunity does not specify designated set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises or restrictions on organizational types eligible to respond. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure requirements have been identified in the available documentation. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement has not been disclosed in the posted materials. Vendors should note that DART retains the right to make changes to orders via written notice, with equitable adjustments available for modifications affecting cost or performance schedules; however, sellers must submit adjustment claims within 30 days of receiving change orders. Risk of loss remains with the seller until delivery and acceptance at the destination, unless loss results from Authority negligence. All pricing must include applicable federal, state, and local taxes, with DART maintaining exemption from Texas sales and use taxes.
