About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART), a government entity operating within Dallas County, Texas, is procuring new Freon R407C refrigerant in 125-pound cylinders through a purchase order opportunity. The specific quantity and detailed specifications are accessible only through the Bonfire registration platform, which vendors must utilize to prepare submissions and access the complete bid table containing project details and vendor response fields. Deliverables include the supply of refrigerant that meets merchantable quality standards and complies with all product descriptions and specifications, covered by the most favorable commercial warranties offered to any customer. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Time and rate of delivery are essential contract elements, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. The posting date for this opportunity was March 26, 2026, with a bid due date of April 2, 2026, providing vendors with approximately one week to prepare and submit their responses. Payment will be made under Net 30 terms, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions based on disadvantaged enterprise status, though all vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment requirements and certify that neither they nor their affiliates boycott Israel and that they are not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with contracts to foreign terrorist organizations. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation, nor are there specific technology integration requirements noted. The purchase order is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, Texas, and all procurements are subject to DART's standard Terms and Conditions. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the available materials, requiring vendors to register through Bonfire to access complete pricing and specification details necessary for accurate bid preparation.
