About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure a new display HMI (Human Machine Interface) TP377B 19" unit for a CIC cabinet through a competitive bidding process. The procurement, identified by reference number 2096881, is specifically located in Dallas County, Texas, and requires vendors to register through Bonfire to access full bid details. The primary deliverable is a technical display unit, with key objectives centered on replacing or upgrading existing technological infrastructure. Potential vendors must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs integrated into the overall price. The solicitation has critical deadlines, including a bid submission due date of December 17, 2025, with all bids required to be comprehensive and include detailed pricing, specifications, and compliance documentation. Vendors must adhere to strict delivery terms, understanding that failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in order rejection and potential default termination.

The procurement appears to have standard participation guidelines without specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises. Vendors must comply with several certification requirements, including confirming they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization contract list and do not boycott Israel. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and include specific documentation such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, and pricing details. While a specific award value is not explicitly stated, the procurement suggests a technology replacement or upgrade project for DART's operational infrastructure. All contractual disputes will be governed by Texas law, with venue specifically designated in Dallas County. Vendors should anticipate providing commercial warranties demonstrating product merchantability and suitability for the intended technological application within the DART transit system.
