About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking bids for the procurement of a new transmission oil cooler (Reference 2097607) through an expedited purchasing process. This is a goods procurement for replacement parts without core exchange, as DART does not have available core units to return. The solicitation requires all bidders to register on the Bonfire platform to access complete bid details, project specifications, and the vendor response table. Award determination will be based on a combination of lowest price and availability, reflecting the urgent nature of this procurement. All bids must include FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs incorporated into the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. The posting date was February 11, 2026, with a bid due date of February 14, 2026, providing a compressed three-day submission window. Delivery time and rate are identified as essential to the order, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination.
The procurement document does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions limiting responses to particular types of organizations, such as disadvantaged, minority-owned, women-owned, or small businesses. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. The solicitation does not disclose a specific budget range or award value; however, vendors should anticipate Net 30 payment terms following invoice submission in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with required documentation including the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. All purchase orders are subject to DART's comprehensive Terms and Conditions, which are governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County. Vendors must comply with additional requirements including certification of non-association with designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations and non-boycott of Israel certifications.
