About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of a new circuit breaker rated at 3000 amperes and 900 volts DC. This purchase order opportunity, identified as 2099094, was posted on May 1, 2026, with a submission deadline of May 8, 2026. The procurement requires vendors to submit bids through the BONFIRE registration system, where detailed specifications and vendor response fields are accessible via an in-browser BidTable. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timelines are critical to this procurement, as the time and rate of deliveries are deemed essential to the order, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and potential default termination. Vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish payment protocols, inspection procedures, and performance expectations applicable to all suppliers conducting business with the authority.
The available documentation does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information for this solicitation. All vendors responding to this opportunity must satisfy compliance requirements established by DART, including equal opportunity employment obligations, conflict-of-interest certifications, verification that neither the vendor nor its affiliates boycott Israel, and confirmation that the vendor does not appear on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization connections. Payment will be made under Net 30 terms, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment issued 30 days from invoice receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later, unless alternative payment terms are agreed upon in writing. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the available solicitation materials for this circuit breaker procurement.
