About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order procurement opportunity (Reference #2097957) posted on February 9, 2026, with a submission deadline of February 16, 2026. This procurement requires vendors to access the complete project details and bidding information through the BONFIRE registration system by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process and locating the in-browser BidTable, which contains vendor response fields and project specifications when scrolled to the right. The specific goods or services being procured are not explicitly detailed in the available documentation; however, vendors must ensure all bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and delivery timelines are critical to contract performance. All purchase orders are subject to DART's standard Terms and Conditions, which establish requirements for acceptance, delivery, inspection, and performance. Vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment requirements, provide certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycotts, and understand that Texas law governs all contractual disputes. The Authority reserves the right to make changes through written change orders, with sellers required to submit equitable adjustment claims within 30 days of change receipt.

The procurement documents do not specify any set-aside designations, restrictions on organizational types, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, incumbent vendors, or award values and budget ranges. Payment terms are established at Net 30, with invoices payable 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later, unless alternative terms have been agreed upon in writing. Vendors must submit invoices in triplicate (one marked "Original") to APInvoices@dart.org, including the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Risk of loss remains with the seller until delivery and acceptance by the Authority, and the Contracting Officer has authority to terminate orders for default or convenience with written notice. Interested vendors should access the BONFIRE system immediately to review complete project specifications and submission requirements prior to the February 16, 2026 deadline.
