About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting competitive bids for the procurement of a new AC inverter propulsion complete unit under purchase order 2097597 in Dallas County, Texas. This procurement requires vendors to submit bids through the Bonfire registration system, with the proposal due date established as January 28, 2026, and the posting date of January 21, 2026. The goods being procured constitute a complete AC inverter propulsion system, though specific technical specifications, quantities, delivery schedules, and detailed project parameters are accessible only through the Bonfire platform upon initiation of the "Prepare Your Submission" process. Bidders must provide comprehensive pricing that includes all freight costs on an FOB Destination basis, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add shipping terms. Delivery timelines and rates are deemed essential to the contract, and failure to meet specified delivery requirements constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. All vendors must comply with DART's standard purchase order terms and conditions, maintain compliance with equal opportunity employment practices and anti-boycott certifications, and adhere to all applicable Texas state and local laws with jurisdiction established in Dallas County.

The available documentation does not specify any set-aside designations, restrictions on respondent eligibility, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, or incumbent vendor information for this procurement opportunity. Similarly, the contract award value or budget range is not disclosed in the summary materials provided. Payment terms are structured as Net 30 from the later of invoice receipt or purchase order receipt date, with invoices required to be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and containing complete documentation including purchase order number, item description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Vendors should note that all goods must be warranted for merchantable quality and fitness for intended use, and compliance with all specifications is mandatory. Interested bidders must register with Bonfire to access the complete bidtable, project details, and vendor response fields necessary to prepare and submit a competitive proposal by the January 28, 2026 deadline.
