About this opportunity

The Network Hardware Refresh Project is a state procurement opportunity for Maryland, specifically targeting master contractors under the Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services 2012 contract (060B2490022). This procurement is limited exclusively to current master contractors who are eligible to submit a bid through a Purchase Order Request for Proposal (PORFP) process. Electronic bid submissions will only be accepted via the State's eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA) e-Procurement system, with detailed submission instructions available on the state's procurement support website. The solicitation was posted on February 20, 2025, with a firm bid submission deadline of March 5, 2025. Prospective bidders must carefully review the procurement requirements and ensure they meet the master contractor qualifications before attempting to submit a proposal.

The contract opportunity is strictly restricted to pre-qualified master contractors, with no explicit indication of set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises. Bidders must submit a Letter of Authorization (LOA) with their proposal to be considered for award. While specific budget ranges or award values are not disclosed in the provided documentation, the focus appears to be on a network hardware refresh initiative. Interested vendors must have existing contracts under the referenced Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services 2012 contract to participate. The procurement suggests a targeted, competitive process for upgrading or replacing network infrastructure, with eligibility heavily dependent on current master contractor status and compliance with state procurement guidelines.
