A performance bond and payment bond for one hundred percent of the contract price will be required upon award. Payment is made based on ninety-five percent of monthly estimates, with final payment upon completion and acceptance.

Complete plans and specifications are available for inspection at NCDOT offices and the designer's office (Hardesty & Hanover, LLP, 3100 Smoketree Court, Suite 1005, Raleigh, NC 27604), and through online plan rooms including McGraw-Hill Dodge, Construct Connect, and East Coast Digital Planroom. Paper copies are available for a fifty-dollar deposit, refundable upon return of documents in good condition within ten days after the bid date. Sealed proposals are received at the office of David Varel, Facilities Design Unit, 1 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, with public opening immediately following the deadline.
