About this opportunity

The NASPO ValuePoint Security & Fire Protection Services procurement is a multi-state Request for Proposal (RFP) designed to establish Master Agreements for comprehensive security and fire protection services across state and local government entities. The primary objective is to leverage collective purchasing power to achieve more favorable pricing and optimal value compared to individual state procurement efforts. The RFP seeks qualified vendors capable of providing robust security and fire protection services to participating governmental agencies, with a focus on establishing a comprehensive contract that can be utilized by multiple jurisdictions. Vendors must submit their proposals electronically through Nevada's procurement system (NevadaEPro) by February 23, 2023, at 5:00 PM Central Time. To participate, vendors are required to register in the NevadaEPro system and access the full RFP documentation through either the NevadaEPro website or the NASPO ValuePoint solicitation information portal. The procurement aims to create a master agreement that enables participating entities to access standardized, high-quality security and fire protection services through a competitively solicited contract.

While specific details about set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are not explicitly outlined in the provided documentation, the procurement appears to be open to a broad range of qualified vendors capable of meeting the comprehensive security and fire protection service requirements. The multi-state nature of the NASPO ValuePoint contract suggests potential for significant contract value, though specific budget ranges are not disclosed in the current solicitation information. Interested vendors must demonstrate technical capability, service reliability, and competitive pricing to be considered for the master agreement. The procurement process is designed to be inclusive, allowing multiple vendors to potentially be awarded contracts, which creates a competitive environment for governmental entities to select services that best meet their specific security and fire protection needs. Vendors should carefully review the full RFP documentation to understand the complete scope of requirements, submission guidelines, and evaluation criteria for this expansive security services procurement opportunity.
