About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement of a multi-surface, glass, and surface cleaner with a specific scent formula similar to "409" brand cleaning product. The contract opportunity, identified by solicitation number 2096721, is located in Dallas County, Texas, and requires vendors to register through the Bonfire platform to access detailed bid information. The procurement process mandates that all bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and vendors must submit detailed invoices containing purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The solicitation is scheduled for posting on December 9, 2025, with responses due by December 16, 2025. DART emphasizes that time and rate of deliveries are critical, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in order rejection and default termination. Vendors must comply with all purchase order terms and conditions, which are detailed in the attached PDF document.

The contract opportunity does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. Payment terms are established as Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt or order completion. The procurement is governed by Texas state law, with venue in Dallas County, and includes standard clauses regarding equal opportunity employment and conflict of interest prohibitions. While specific award values or budget ranges are not detailed in the provided documentation, vendors should be prepared to meet DART's strict quality and delivery requirements. The solicitation suggests potential for ongoing supply agreements for cleaning products, with an emphasis on vendors capable of consistent, high-quality product delivery and adherence to specified logistics and invoicing protocols. Interested vendors must carefully review the purchase order terms and conditions and be prepared to submit comprehensive, compliant proposals through the Bonfire platform.
