About this opportunity
Douglas County, Georgia is seeking sealed proposals for a Mowing & Litter Removal contract to be submitted by March 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST at the Douglas County Purchasing Office. The project will be executed in accordance with the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges. Bidders must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, securing necessary permits and approvals. The contract requires comprehensive mowing and litter removal services across county areas, with strict adherence to specified standards. Bidders are prohibited from subcontracting or transferring the contract without written county consent. All submitted bids must remain valid for sixty days following the bid opening, and the county reserves the right to reject all bids or award the contract in whole or partial segments to one or multiple successful bidders.
The procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises or minority-owned businesses. Potential bidders must complete several mandatory documents including a Non-Collusion Affidavit, Contractor Affidavit, No Conflict of Interest form, Proposal Certification, and Subcontractor Affidavit. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, interested contractors will need to submit a Proposal Cost form detailing their pricing structure. The county will likely evaluate bids based on factors such as pricing, previous performance, and ability to meet technical specifications. Contractors must demonstrate professional capability through a Contractor Reference form, which will likely be used to assess qualifications and past performance in similar mowing and litter removal projects.
