About this opportunity
Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum (JPPM) in Calvert County, Maryland, is soliciting bids through Invitation for Bid (IFB) number FM26-24 for mowing and grounds maintenance services covering approximately 28 acres across four distinct operational areas. The procurement requires contractors to furnish all necessary labor, overhead, equipment, materials, and incidental services to complete 40 mowing cycles for each of the four designated areas: the Public/Educational area, MAC/MSC grounds, the Patterson Estate, and the North End grounds. Qualified contractors must submit completed bids by April 17, 2026, including the signed IFB form, Bid/Proposal Affidavit, Conflict of Interest Affidavit and Disclosure, completed reference sheets, company certificates of insurance, and acknowledgment of any amendments to the IFB. Bids may be submitted by mail, fax, or email, and any bids received after the due date, lacking required documentation, or submitted without the completed IFB form will be deemed non-responsive. The solicitation was posted on April 9, 2026, allowing an eight-day response period for interested bidders.
The opportunity documentation does not specify set-aside designations, restrictions on respondent types, disadvantaged business enterprise requirements, incumbent vendor information, or an explicit award value or budget range. Contractors are permitted to utilize their standard bid forms provided they include the completed and signed IFB, indicating flexibility in proposal presentation while maintaining standardized evaluation criteria. The absence of detailed evaluation criteria in the provided information suggests that award decisions may be based primarily on price competitiveness and compliance with submission requirements. No information regarding existing infrastructure, technology integration needs, or site visit schedules has been indicated in this opportunity notice.
