About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas, is seeking a procurement for a specific mount component, identified by the solicitation number 2097096. The procurement involves acquiring a 2.5" round plate with a 1.5" ball ram, which appears to be a specialized equipment or infrastructure component. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit responses by December 22, 2025. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and DART emphasizes that delivery timing and rates are critical, with potential for rejection and default termination for failure to meet specified delivery schedules. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, including specific detailed information such as purchase order number, item number, description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment terms are strictly Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of either the invoice or the order, whichever occurs later.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises are explicitly mentioned in the provided documentation. Vendors must certify they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts and must confirm they do not boycott Israel. The procurement requires vendors to comply with DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which includes provisions for commercial warranty, equal opportunity employment, and conflict of interest certifications. While a specific award value or budget range is not disclosed, vendors must be prepared to meet stringent compliance requirements, including performing necessary inspections to substantiate conformance with specifications and technical requirements. The procurement is governed by Texas law, with any legal disputes subject to venue in Dallas County. Potential bidders should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document to fully understand the comprehensive requirements of this procurement opportunity.
