About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas is procuring a 12-volt windshield wiper motor through Purchase Order 2097765. The primary deliverable is a single motor unit that must meet all specifications referenced in the purchase order and comply with DART's quality and merchantability standards. Vendors must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Time and rate of delivery are critical to this procurement, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. The submission deadline is February 5, 2026, with registration in the BONFIRE system required to access bid details and the response table. Vendors must demonstrate compliance with all purchase order terms and conditions, including equal opportunity employment commitments and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycott policies. Payment will be issued on Net 30 terms from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing the purchase order number, item number, description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The opportunity notice does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or preferences for particular vendor categories. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are listed in the available documentation. The procurement is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and the Contracting Officer retains full authority over contract modifications, termination for default or convenience, and dispute determinations subject to appeal. The specific award value or budget range for this motor procurement is not disclosed in the posted opportunity materials. Interested vendors must complete the BONFIRE registration process and access the in-browser BidTable to review complete project details, specifications, and vendor response fields before submitting their proposals.
