About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for specific technological components, specifically seeking MODULE, CPU, COMPUTER, RECTIFIER, DC SWITCHGEAR, TPS, and CROUZET equipment, with solicitation number 2095586. The contract opportunity was posted on October 6, 2025, with proposals due by October 9, 2025, and requires mandatory Bonfire registration for full bid access. Vendors must submit responses through the in-browser BidTable window and adhere to specific procurement guidelines, including FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall pricing. Delivery performance is critically important, with DART emphasizing that failure to deliver according to specified time and rate parameters could result in rejection and default termination. Potential bidders must provide detailed invoicing with specific documentation, including purchase order number, item number, description of supplies, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The procurement appears to be open to all qualified vendors, with no explicit set-aside designations mentioned in the available documentation. DART has established clear payment terms of Net 30, meaning invoices will be processed within 30 days of receipt, and requires vendors to submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org. The purchasing authority has outlined specific terms and conditions, including requirements for equal opportunity employment, certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations, and a commitment not to boycott Israel. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the technical specificity of the requested equipment suggests this is a specialized procurement targeting precise technological infrastructure components for transit systems. Legal jurisdiction for any potential disputes is established in Dallas County, Texas, and vendors must carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document to ensure full compliance with DART's procurement requirements.
