About this opportunity
MMCAP Infuse, operating through the Office of State Procurement (OSP), has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Pharmaceutical Waste management services, identified by Reference Number 33709. The solicitation seeks proposals from qualified vendors capable of providing comprehensive pharmaceutical waste disposal and management solutions. Interested parties must download three specific documents from the OSP website, which requires providing an email address to access the RFP Solicitation Document, Cost Proposal, and Agreement Template. The proposal submission deadline is January 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time, with potential vendors required to carefully review all documents and follow precise download instructions. Vendors should note that any redistribution of RFP documents may result in not receiving critical addendum notifications, and failure to receive addendums will not be grounds for protesting award decisions. Interested parties with questions are directed to contact MMCAP_Infuse.RFP@state.mn.us for additional information or clarification about the pharmaceutical waste management procurement opportunity.
The RFP does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. No information is provided about incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing technological infrastructure that would require integration. While the specific budget range or potential award value is not disclosed in the provided documentation, the solicitation appears to be a multi-jurisdictional procurement through MMCAP Infuse, which suggests the potential for a substantial contract covering pharmaceutical waste management services across multiple state or local healthcare facilities. Vendors should be prepared to demonstrate comprehensive capabilities in pharmaceutical waste handling, disposal protocols, compliance with regulatory standards, and potential cost-effectiveness. The procurement process emphasizes transparent communication, with vendors required to register their contact information to receive potential addendum notifications, indicating a structured and formal selection methodology.
