About this opportunity

MMCAP Infuse, a governmental cooperative purchasing group operated by the Minnesota Department of Administration's Office of State Procurement, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Medication Repackaging Services targeting state and local government facilities nationwide, including jurisdictions in Oregon such as Marion County and the City of Salem. The procurement seeks qualified vendors to provide comprehensive medication repackaging services for oral solids, liquids, and topical products, with specific capabilities including unit dose packaging, hazardous drug repackaging, blister card production, physician-dispensing packaging, and unit-dose syringe preparation. Evaluation criteria will assess technical capabilities, with the cost proposal accounting for 30% of the total scoring, and vendors must agree to pay a 3% administrative fee on all sales. The RFP requires vendors to demonstrate expertise in regulatory compliance, product quality, prompt delivery, and customer service. Responses are due by August 2, 2023, at 2:00 pm Central Time, with an anticipated initial contract term of two years and potential extensions. Interested vendors must request a Cost Proposal Worksheet by emailing MMCAP_Infuse.RFP@state.mn.us with a specific subject line.

The solicitation appears to be open to all qualified vendors without explicit set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. MMCAP Infuse reserves the right to award the contract to a single respondent or multiple vendors, providing flexibility in contract implementation. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly detailed in the provided documents, the broad national membership of MMCAP Infuse suggests potential significant contract value across multiple jurisdictions. The cooperative purchasing model allows various government entities to participate, potentially increasing the overall contract's economic impact. Vendors must provide comprehensive documentation demonstrating their capability to handle diverse medication repackaging requirements, including managing different product types and packaging formats. Successful respondents will need robust infrastructure to support high-volume, regulatory-compliant medication repackaging services across multiple government facilities.
