About this opportunity
The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) is seeking non-paid partnerships and participation in a statewide organizational behavioral and mental health awareness program called Mass Grown Wellness. The goal of the program is to increase access to mental wellness resources, support healthy farms by raising awareness of mental health impacts on farms, provide resources to enhance mental health conversations with the agricultural community, identify barriers to available mental health resources, and provide culturally sensitive and inclusive information and resources about mental health wellness. MDAR is accepting responses from non-profit organizations, for-profit organizations, individuals, private industry organizations, agricultural interest groups, and agricultural collaboratives to engage in activities such as taking part in program training, providing guidance and direction to members and partners, building and maintaining collaborative relationships, and providing input into a Massachusetts Peer-to-Peer network. Responses will be accepted on a rolling basis, with an initial due date of April 30, 2023 and a final submission date of August 1, 2023. These will be zero-dollar contracts with no funding provided, but MDAR will provide training sessions and resources to potential partners free of charge.
There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond to this opportunity. The contracts will be non-paid, and there is no listed budget or award value range provided. There are also no incumbent vendors or current contractors mentioned, and no existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration.
