About this opportunity

Miami-Dade County is soliciting bids for comprehensive HVAC chiller maintenance, repair, and overhaul services across county facilities, with proposals due October 14, 2026.

The scope encompasses all labor, supervision, parts, materials, equipment, and technical expertise required to maintain optimal operating condition for HVAC systems, water treatment equipment, and chilled water/glycol distribution systems throughout the contract term. The awardee is responsible for inspections, preventive maintenance, routine and emergency repairs, and systematic periodic service on chillers, compressors, cooling towers, thermal storage and recovery components, pumps, motors, drives, electrical and control systems, piping, fittings, valves, insulation, gauges, thermometers, sensors, and related infrastructure. The awardee's responsibility extends to all equipment within each pre-condition air chiller plant and chilled water plant, all distribution system piping and components, and ends at isolation valves serving distribution branch lines — with the exception that for Building 3099 (East Chiller Plant), the awardee excludes distribution system piping responsibility. All work must meet OEM standards and comply with applicable Federal, State, and Local Laws and Environmental Regulations. The contract covers multiple county facility locations with both pre-condition air chiller plants and chilled water plants.

The awardee must supply all disposal and transportation services as necessary components of the maintenance program. The solicitation packet is available; the document excerpt does not specify estimated contract value, contract term, evaluation criteria, or incumbent contractor information.
