Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), part of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, is seeking separate prime contractors for a comprehensive renovation project at McElhaney Hall located on its campus. The project involves extensive construction and renovation work, specifically focused on transforming classroom and office spaces across the first and second floors of the building. Primary deliverables include constructing one large classroom, renovating multiple smaller office spaces, creating duct shaft connections through the second floor, and installing a new rooftop mechanical unit. The procurement will be conducted through an electronic bid process via PennBid, with electronic bids due no later than January 27, 2026, at 1pm. A pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for January 5, 2025, at 1pm in McElhaney Hall, Room 104, located at 441 North Walk, Indiana, PA 15705. While the pre-bid meeting is not mandatory, it is highly recommended for potential contractors to attend and gain detailed insights into the project requirements.
