About this opportunity

The City of Round Rock is requesting proposals for masonry services across approximately 1,300,000 square feet of maintained property at 56 City-owned or occupied facilities under RFP 26-015, with proposals due August 5, 2026 at 3:00 PM CST. No set-asides or preferences are stated.

Scope encompasses maintenance, repair, renovations, installation, and alteration of masonry work on an as-needed basis across office buildings, police departments, fire stations, park facilities, and parking garages. The awardee must have a physical business address within Central Texas, be domiciled or have a home office in the United States, and possess a minimum of five years of commercial masonry experience. Subcontracting is not permitted. Prevailing wage rates as established by the Texas Workforce Commission for the Austin-Round Rock Area apply under Texas Government Code Chapter 2258. A one-year warranty on all workmanship and parts is required, with warranty work to be completed within five working days of notice of defect.

The total contract value shall not exceed $200,000 per fiscal year. The initial contract term is 60 months from the date of award, with an option for the contractor to hold over under the same terms for up to 120 days upon expiration. Pricing must be submitted on a fixed-cost basis with all incidental costs, labor, overhead, travel, and equipment included; materials on a cost-plus basis not to exceed a 15% markup. Contract prices remain firm for the initial 12-month term, with potential price increases on each anniversary date equal to the Consumer Price Index but capped at 10% per single line item unless otherwise approved by the City.

Evaluation is weighted: Respondent's Solution, Approach, and Timeline (10 points), Company Work Experience and Personnel (30 points), and Cost Proposal (60 points). Award will be made to the respondent offering the best overall value. Questions are due July 22, 2026 at 5:00 PM CST. All responses must be submitted through the City's electronic bidding platform, Bonfire, at https://roundrocktexas.bonfirehub.com.
