About this opportunity

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the Massachusetts Environmental Police (MEP), is seeking to award multiple three-year contracts (with a possible two-year renewal) for the provision of maritime fuel, engine and vessel maintenance, parts, and boating accessories across the state. The intent is to ensure competitive pricing for these goods and services at all Commonwealth marinas. The contract will cover a wide range of deliverables, including the supply of maritime fuel, as well as the maintenance, repair, and provision of parts and accessories for vessels operated by the Commonwealth. Qualified vendors must demonstrate expertise in the marine industry and the ability to serve the needs of the Commonwealth across multiple locations. Responses to this opportunity are due by June 30, 2019, and the Commonwealth may reopen the contract to additional vendors if the needs of the state are not fully met by the initial awards.

This contract opportunity is open to all interested and qualified vendors, with no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that may respond. The Commonwealth has not identified any incumbent vendors or current contractors, and there is no information provided on the value or budget range for the potential awards. Respondents should be prepared to integrate their services and offerings with any existing infrastructure or technology utilized by the Commonwealth.
