About this opportunity
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through its Division of Marine Fisheries (DMF), is seeking bids for a contract to provide Marine Supplies and Vessel Support Services. The contract will cover the supply of parts, equipment, repairs, maintenance, and inspections for DMF's coastal research and monitoring vessels operating in the Suffolk County and Boston City regions. The initial contract term is from the date of execution through June 30, 2025, with two optional 3-year renewal periods, for a maximum duration of up to 9 years. Bidders must submit responses through the COMMBUYS procurement system by the specified deadline. Compensation will be based on hourly labor rates, discount rates for parts, and a list of prices or discount rates for available items, in accordance with the Commonwealth's procurement policy.
This is a small procurement targeted to businesses participating in the Commonwealth's Small Business Purchasing Program (SBPP), with subcontracting limited to no more than 20% of the contract value unless with another SBPP-registered participant. The opportunity also has requirements related to the Supplier Diversity Program (SDP) and the use of environmentally preferable products. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified, and the budget range for the contract is not provided.
