Physical submittals only are accepted; electronic bids are not permitted.
The scope comprises four sections: Section A (manhole sections, rings, covers, and accessories with annual quantities of 1–50 units per item); Section B (round manholes, catch basins, and tops, 1–3 units annually); Section C (assorted tops, 1–10 units); and Section D (rings and covers, 1–12 units annually). Bidders may bid on any subset of line items. All precast concrete drainage structures must meet current Georgia Department of Transportation requirements, and manhole covers must be stamped "Gwinnett County Sewer." Deliveries are FOB destination prepaid to the Department of Water Resources Central Warehouse at 684 Winder Highway, Lawrenceville, Georgia, within 14 days of order placement (extended to 90 days per Addendum #2); damaged items must be replaced and redelivered within 14 days.
The contract commences January 1, 2023, or upon award, and includes an initial term with four optional one-year renewal periods. Pricing must remain firm for the initial term, with optional percentage increases or decreases for renewals. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must submit quotes in duplicate on the County's bid schedule, provide minimum three project references of similar size and scope, and submit a signed, notarized Contractor Affidavit certifying compliance with Georgia's Illegal Immigration Reform Enhancements (required as contract value exceeds $2,499.99).
