The Minnesota Department of Military Affairs (DMA) is conducting a formal solicitation for a one-time procurement of a Metasys Network Engine (Model M4-SNE22002) for Building Communication at Camp Ripley. This procurement is specifically for one network engine with strict requirements that NO SUBSTITUTES will be considered, indicating a precise technical specification requirement. The equipment must be delivered to Camp Ripley, located at 15000 Hwy 115, Bldg. 2-268 in Little Falls, Minnesota, with all deliveries being FOB Destination and freight charges included in the unit price. Potential bidders must submit their responses electronically through the Supplier Portal, with all questions due by 10:00 AM on February 10, 2025, and final bid submissions required by 10:00 AM on February 13, 2025. However, bidders must be registered as suppliers in the system before potential award, and those needing registration assistance can contact the Contractor Assistance Helpdesk at 651.201.8100, Option 1. The procurement requires that the network engine be manufactured by Johnson Controls to ensure system compatibility, suggesting potential limitations on manufacturer participation. While a specific budget range is not disclosed, this appears to be a targeted, specialized procurement for a specific technological component. Bidders must submit comprehensive documentation including Responder Declarations, Pricing, Responder Forms, Veterans Preference Form, and Additional Information Form. The State applies a direct pay permit to this project and instructs vendors not to include sales and use tax in their pricing proposal.
