About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking bids for Glidex switch track lubricant in 5-gallon containers under Purchase Order 2098627. This procurement opportunity, posted on April 13, 2026, with a submission deadline of April 20, 2026, involves the supply of specialized track lubricant to support DART's transit operations in Dallas County, Texas. Bidders must submit proposals through the BONFIRE registration system and are required to access the bid table to review project details and complete vendor response fields. All bids must include FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs incorporated into the overall price, and DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Timely delivery is critical to this procurement, with the terms and conditions explicitly stating that failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for order rejection and default termination. Vendors should review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document available in the supporting documentation section to understand all contractual obligations and compliance requirements.

The procurement documentation does not specify set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, small businesses, or other protected classifications, though vendors must meet standard compliance certifications including equal opportunity employment standards, foreign terrorist organization certifications, and Israel boycott compliance requirements. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the posted materials, and no existing infrastructure integration requirements are specified for this product supply contract. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis, calculated from the later of invoice receipt or purchase order receipt, with invoices required in triplicate and submitted to APInvoices@dart.org containing specific information including purchase order number, item description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The specific award value and quantity requirements are not disclosed in the publicly available opportunity documentation, as these details are accessible only through the BONFIRE system's bid table after vendors initiate the submission preparation process. Interested vendors should ensure compliance with all DART terms and conditions and submit complete bids by the April 20, 2026 deadline.
