About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking qualified vendors to supply Lubriplate L0135-063 12 oz. spray lubricant, fluid, cable, and chain lubricant product. This procurement, posted on May 15, 2026, with a submission deadline of May 22, 2026, requires vendors to submit bids through the Bonfire registration system and respond to the in-browser BidTable with pricing and vendor information. The deliverable is a single product line—the specified Lubriplate lubricant spray—with all pricing to be submitted on an FOB Destination basis with freight costs included in the overall bid price. Key contractual requirements include strict adherence to delivery schedules, as timely delivery is designated as essential to the order, with vendor failures to meet delivery specifications subject to rejection and default termination. Vendors must provide commercial warranties ensuring merchantable quality and specification compliance, and all invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with Net 30 payment terms calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt. No specific evaluation criteria, bidders' meetings, site visits, or question submission deadlines are detailed in the available documentation.
The procurement documentation does not identify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or reserved bidding categories. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure integration requirements are specified in the materials provided. The agreement is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and vendors must certify non-involvement with designated foreign terrorist organizations and non-participation in boycotts of Israel. DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales taxes, which will be deducted from invoice amounts. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the available procurement documentation, though the procurement appears to be for standard maintenance supplies through a competitive bidding process.
