About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking bids for the procurement of a Lower Skirting, End Car Battery Comp Cover, RH (Item 2098625), a vehicle component part for transit operations. This procurement was posted on April 6, 2026, with a bid due date of April 13, 2026. Vendors must submit bids through the BONFIRE registration system and must access the detailed specifications and BidTable by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process. All bids and quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery performance is critical to this procurement, with time and rate of deliveries deemed essential to the order; failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. The seller must warrant that all supplies are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, and comply with product descriptions and specifications, and must be covered by the most favorable commercial warranties provided to any customer. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with complete documentation including purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The procurement documents do not specify set-aside designations, restrictions on organizational type, or disadvantaged enterprise requirements, nor do they identify incumbent vendors or current contractors. No existing infrastructure or technology integration requirements are noted in the available documentation. Payment terms are established on a Net 30 basis, with invoices due 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and all vendors must certify compliance with foreign terrorist organization restrictions and Israel boycott prohibitions. The procurement documents do not disclose the award value or budget range for this contract opportunity. Interested vendors should consult the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF and BidTable for additional specifications, requirements, and submission details.
