About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of a lower skirting end car battery component cover (part number 2098626) through a purchase order mechanism. This is a goods procurement opportunity posted on April 6, 2026, with a submission deadline of April 13, 2026. The deliverable is a specific automotive component for transit vehicle maintenance and operations. Vendors must submit all bids and quotes with FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs included in the overall price, and DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. The Authority requires strict adherence to specified delivery timelines and rates, as failure to meet these requirements constitutes grounds for order rejection and default termination. To access the detailed specifications, bid table, and vendor response fields, prospective bidders must register in the BONFIRE system and initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process to view the complete project details. No specific evaluation criteria beyond delivery performance and compliance with terms and conditions are detailed in the available documentation.

The procurement documents do not specify set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other restricted vendor categories; however, all sellers must comply with equal opportunity employment requirements and certify non-association with foreign terrorist organizations, as well as warrant that neither they nor their affiliates boycott Israel. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment due 30 days from invoice receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later. No specific award value or budget range is provided in the available documentation; interested vendors should consult the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document and access the BONFIRE system for additional financial details and specifications.
