About this opportunity
Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, Procurement Department is requesting quotes for lot clearing services under a term contract via RFQ 26-0184R-DJ, with quotes due August 28, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County local time and questions due August 14, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Small Business Development (SBD) program requirements apply to non-federally funded portions, with a 5% local preference available for Palm Beach County-based and Glades-based businesses.
Lot clearing services will be provided on an as-needed basis throughout the contract term. Quoters must submit proof of vendor registration in the County's Vendor Self Service system, drug-free workplace certification, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws including E-Verify employment eligibility verification and criminal history records checks where applicable. All subcontractors must also be registered in the vendor system.
Pricing must be submitted as single, fixed unit prices without escalation clauses. Quoters warrant that prices will remain firm for ninety days from submission and throughout the contract term. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible quoter with the lowest price, subject to applicable preferences.
Respondents must complete and submit mandatory SBE Schedules 1 through 4 detailing prime contractor and subcontractor information, SBE designations, work allocations, payment tracking, and actual disbursements. Schedule 1 identifies all subcontractors and the total percentage of work allocated to SBEs. Schedule 2 or 2(a) details specific work and materials by subcontractor. Schedule 3 accompanies each payment request and documents amounts drawn and paid. Schedule 4 documents actual payments to subcontractors with required signatures and notarization. Violations of the SBD Ordinance may be reported through the OSBD website. E-mailed responses should be directed to David Juhe, Senior Buyer, at duhe1@pbc.gov.
