About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement of a set of 3 light, LED, signal, and gate components through a competitive bidding process for a contract opportunity located in Dallas County, Texas. The procurement requires potential vendors to register through the Bonfire platform to access full bid details and response fields. Vendors must submit bids with FOB Destination shipping terms, ensuring freight costs are included in the overall pricing. The solicitation is specifically for the acquisition of three integrated signal gate sets, with precise technical specifications to be reviewed through the online bidding system. Proposals must be submitted by December 18, 2025, with strict adherence to delivery timelines considered critical to contract performance. DART emphasizes that failure to meet specified delivery rates could result in contract rejection or default termination. Potential bidders must carefully review the comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, which outlines all contractual requirements and operational expectations for this procurement opportunity.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, DART appears to maintain standard procurement protocols that may favor local or disadvantaged business enterprises. The contract does not indicate incumbent vendors or specify precise budget ranges for the light, LED, signal, and gate equipment procurement. Payment terms are clearly defined as Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate and requiring specific documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement includes comprehensive legal provisions covering commercial warranties, equal opportunity compliance, and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycott provisions. Vendors must be prepared to handle potential contract modifications, with any equitable adjustment claims required to be submitted within 30 days, and disputes resolved through the Contracting Officer with potential appeal rights to the Authority. DART maintains tax exemption for Texas state and local sales and use taxes, which vendors must acknowledge in their proposal submissions.
