About this opportunity
This state and local contracting opportunity is for the procurement of library furnishings, storage solutions, and related installation services. The purpose is for Educational & Institutional Cooperative Services, Inc. (E&I), a member-owned non-profit cooperative, to establish a cost-effective Master Agreement to provide E&I members - which include public and private universities, colleges, community colleges, K-12 schools, and teaching healthcare facilities across the United States - a procurement vehicle to acquire these products and services. The RFP outlines the required scope of work, including detailed product specifications, construction options, sustainable features, delivery and installation capabilities. Respondents must provide pricing information and details on their supplier diversity programs. The RFP has a tentative schedule, with proposals due by November 6, 2024. E&I reserves the right to award to multiple suppliers and may make an additional award to the highest ranked diverse supplier.
The contract is open to all E&I members, with a focus on serving jurisdictions within the state of Washington, including various counties, cities, and other local entities. E&I is committed to developing mutually advantageous relationships with minority, women, disabled, veteran and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, but the RFP does not provide specifics on any set-asides or preferences for these types of organizations. The RFP also does not indicate any incumbent vendors or budget ranges for the contract awards.
