About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting a procurement opportunity for a specific lever, operator, and door component, specifically a right-hand lever referenced under bid number 2094268. The contract opportunity was posted on July 26, 2025, with proposals due by August 1, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit their responses through the in-browser BidTable window. All submissions must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall pricing. DART emphasizes that delivery timing and rates are critical, with potential rejection and default termination for sellers failing to meet specified delivery requirements. Vendors must comply with comprehensive purchase order terms and conditions, which include detailed requirements for invoice submissions, containing specific information such as purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The procurement appears to have standard participation guidelines without specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises. Vendors must be prepared to adhere to DART's Net 30 payment terms, with invoices submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org. The contract is governed by Texas state law, with any legal proceedings to be conducted in Dallas County. While specific award value is not disclosed, vendors should be prepared to provide competitive pricing and meet rigorous compliance standards, including certifications regarding business practices and exclusions related to foreign terrorist organizations. The procurement requires vendors to demonstrate capability in providing precise mechanical components with exacting delivery specifications. Potential respondents should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, which provides comprehensive guidelines for conducting business with DART and establishes the legal framework for the procurement process.
