About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas, is soliciting a procurement opportunity for a specific lever component, identified by item number 2096868. The contract opportunity, posted on December 11, 2025, with a response deadline of December 18, 2025, requires potential vendors to complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details. Vendors must submit their proposals with FOB Destination shipping terms, incorporating freight costs into the overall pricing. The procurement specifically seeks an unlocking, left-hand lever, though precise technical specifications are not fully detailed in the available documentation. All submissions must adhere to DART's Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which emphasize strict delivery performance standards where failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in rejection and default termination. Vendors must be prepared to submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, including comprehensive details such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly mentioned in the available documentation, DART's terms include provisions for equal opportunity employment. The procurement follows standard Net 30 payment terms, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt. Although a specific budget range is not provided, vendors should anticipate comprehensive compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, including certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycotts. The contract will be governed by Texas law, with any disputes initially addressed through the Contracting Officer and potential appeal within 30 days. Potential vendors should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, which provides a comprehensive framework for supplier obligations, performance standards, and contractual expectations. Interested suppliers must be prepared to meet DART's rigorous technical, logistical, and administrative requirements to be considered for this procurement opportunity.
