Laundry and Linen Rental Service

The State of Wisconsin, specifically the State Patrol Academy located in Monroe County, is seeking a comprehensive laundry and linen rental service contract for its facility at 95 South 10th Ave., Fort McCoy. The procurement opportunity requires a vendor to provide regular pick-up and delivery of laundry, linens, and uniforms on a consistent schedule, specifically every Monday and Thursday, with adjustments made for state holidays by rescheduling pick-ups to the next working day. The contract demands a reliable service provider capable of maintaining a steady supply of clean uniforms and linens for the academy's operational needs. The solicitation was originally posted on December 27, 2021, with a proposal submission deadline of February 1, 2022. While specific evaluation criteria were not detailed in the provided documentation, the primary objectives appear to center on consistent service delivery, quality of laundering, and adherence to the prescribed pick-up and delivery schedule.

No explicit set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor participation were mentioned in the contract opportunity description. The scope of work suggests a standard commercial laundry service contract without specific limitations on business size or type. Additionally, no information was provided regarding incumbent vendors, existing infrastructure requirements, or potential contract value. The geographic specificity to the State Patrol Academy in Fort McCoy indicates a localized procurement opportunity focused on meeting the specific laundering and uniform maintenance needs of a state-level training facility. Potential vendors would need to demonstrate capability to consistently service the location, manage regular pick-up and delivery logistics, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and uniform maintenance for a professional law enforcement training environment.
