The scope includes furnishing and installing 505 cubic yards of screened topsoil, adjusting nine drainage covers by 2 to 4 inches to proper grade, hydroseeding all disturbed areas, and constructing temporary track crossings using fabric, plywood, and gravel ramps to protect the track surface during equipment crossing. All slopes must comply with ADA requirements of 8% or less. Work must be completed by October 31, 2026. R.C. Hendrick & Son, Inc. is the Construction Manager. All bidders must include a sworn and notarized familial disclosure statement as required by Michigan law (MCL 380.1267). Contractors must provide general liability insurance with limits of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, naming the Owner, Architect, and Construction Manager as additional insureds. Performance and labor/material payment bonds are required prior to contract execution. All work is guaranteed for 12 months from substantial completion. Contractors are responsible for obtaining all required permits except the building permit. Maximum allowable markup on changes in the work is 11%; maximum markup for extra work is 15%.
