About this opportunity

The Brazos River Authority (BRA) is seeking proposals for Laboratory Sampling and Analytical Services to support compliance with Industrial Pretreatment Programs (IPPs) across four municipal wastewater treatment plants and fourteen Industrial Users (IUs) in the Temple-Belton and Sugar Land areas of Texas. The selected laboratory will be required to sample and analyze for specific parameters listed in Exhibits A and B, and must meet stringent quality assurance and reporting requirements. The initial contract term is for one year, with up to four one-year renewal options. Proposals are due by 10:00 AM on April 11, 2024, and the selection will be based on the respondents' qualifications, relevant experience, and ability to meet the technical and quality requirements. The BRA will select the most highly qualified respondent and attempt to negotiate a fair and reasonable contract.

Small, minority-owned, women-owned, and historically underutilized businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. The successful laboratory will be required to provide insurance coverage, comply with HUB subcontracting requirements, and adhere to various other administrative and reporting obligations. The RFP does not include any pricing information, as the selection will be based on qualifications rather than cost. The BRA has not disclosed any incumbent vendors or current contractors for this opportunity, nor has it provided a budget range or award value.
