About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order solicitation for standard labels covers, with the opportunity posted on January 29, 2026, and a submission deadline of February 5, 2026. This procurement is being conducted through the state of Texas's Bonfire registration system, requiring vendors to register and access the complete project details and bid table through the "Prepare Your Submission" process on the posting platform. The solicitation requires vendors to submit bids that reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with all freight costs included in the overall price, and successful vendors must adhere to strict delivery schedules as time and rate of deliveries are essential to the order, with failure to meet delivery specifications constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. All purchase orders are subject to DART's standard Terms and Conditions, including Net 30 payment terms, with invoices to be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and must contain the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Inspection and acceptance of goods occurs at the destination, and vendors are responsible for substantiating compliance with all drawings and specifications prior to delivery. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and the Authority reserves the right to make written changes to orders with equitable adjustments to contract price or delivery schedules when changes impact seller performance.

The procurement documents available indicate that all vendors must comply with mandatory certifications regarding non-association with Foreign Terrorist Organizations and non-boycott of Israel, and standard equal employment opportunity provisions apply. The solicitation materials do not specify set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other protected classifications, suggesting this is an open competitive procurement available to all qualified vendors. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation, and no specific budget range or award value has been disclosed in the posted opportunity. Vendors should contact DART through the Bonfire system for any clarifications regarding technical specifications, delivery requirements, or pricing expectations prior to the February 5, 2026, submission deadline.
