The two-step selection process begins with submission of statements of qualifications as a single PDF file not exceeding 50 pages due June 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET through KSU's Filedrop website, with finalist firms to be notified by June 4, 2026. Competitive sealed bids from qualified finalists are due July 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET, with construction anticipated to commence in late June to early July 2026 and be completed within 30 days. Questions regarding the RFQ must be submitted in writing to Elliot Dennis at edenni10@kennesaw.edu by May 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET. The contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis to the apparent successful bidder submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid using the standard Board of Regents Design-Bid-Build Construction Contract.
This procurement does not appear to include set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond based on the information provided. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the solicitation documents. All respondents must submit completed Certification Forms (Exhibit A), Contractor Affidavits under O.C.G.A. 13-10-91(b)(1) (Exhibit B), and Disclosure Statements (Exhibit C) as part of their qualifications package. The general contractor selected will operate under a Construction Manager at Risk delivery method, requiring management of scheduling, coordination of subcontractors, site logistics, quality control, and compliance with the defined phasing plan while maintaining safe vehicular and pedestrian access throughout construction. The estimated construction cost limitation is between $100,000 and $200,000, subject to revision based on final programmatic requirements and funding availability. KSU reserves the right to reject any or all statements of qualifications or proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of the Board of Regents.
