About this opportunity

Kennesaw State University (KSU) is conducting an electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) for Athletics Catering Services in accordance with the State Purchasing Act. The procurement seeks a qualified supplier to provide comprehensive catering services for premium areas associated with KSU's Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Volleyball athletic programs. Specific deliverables include catering equipment, personnel, and labor necessary to support the Kennesaw State University Athletic Association's (KSUAA) event needs. The eRFP was posted on October 6, 2025, with proposals due by November 3, 2025. As a Division I school with 18 intercollegiate sports programs and over 47,000 students, KSU requires a strategic partner capable of meeting the institution's high-standard catering requirements. The university emphasizes strict compliance with NCAA rules and seeks a vendor who can professionally support its athletic events while maintaining institutional integrity.

While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements were explicitly mentioned in the documentation, the solicitation appears open to qualified catering service providers. The KSUAA currently anticipates spending approximately $90,000 to $100,000 annually on catering services, which represents the potential contract value. The opportunity is located in Cobb County, northwest of Atlanta, and is part of the University System of Georgia. Potential respondents should be prepared to demonstrate comprehensive catering capabilities, including equipment provision, staffing, and the ability to support premium area needs across multiple athletic programs. The contract will likely involve supporting events for Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Volleyball, requiring vendors to be adaptable and responsive to the diverse needs of a large, growing university athletic program.
