About this opportunity
The New York Power Authority is soliciting proposals for an Enterprise Knowledge Management function with proposals due October 27, 2026. The procurement carries SDVOB, MBE, and WBE participation goals: 6% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, 15% Minority Business Enterprise, and 15% Women Business Enterprise.
The scope encompasses establishing an organizational knowledge management function that captures, categorizes, and utilizes knowledge across the enterprise to drive business value, enhance decision-making, and improve efficiency. NYPA explicitly encourages responses from vendors qualified to deliver one part of the RFP rather than requiring a single supplier capable of all objectives, signaling openness to multiple awardees or partial-scope responses.
No incumbent contractor is identified. The source does not state an estimated contract value, contract term, or specific place of performance within New York Power Authority's service territory, which spans Westchester County and Yonkers City. The source does not identify evaluation criteria, a pre-bid or industry day meeting, or a question-submission deadline separate from the proposal due date.
Opportunity text
The New York Power Authority ("NYPA") is seeking a vendor to create an Enterprise Knowledge Management function that conveys the value of documenting, sharing, and reusing knowledge as part of an organization's culture as well as to translate captured knowledge into actionable items that drive business value, enhance decision-making, and improve organizational efficiency. To support an evolving organizational landscape, the ability to effectively capture, categorize, and utilize knowledge across the enterprise is critical to continuous improvement and strategic success. Suppliers are encouraged to respond even if they are only qualified to deliver one part of the RFP. NYPA is not necessarily looking for a single supplier who can perform all of the objectives listed.
