About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for a KIT, WH-SA-82, AIR HORN ASSY with solicitation number 2096635, targeting specific technical components for transit infrastructure. The procurement is specifically located in Dallas County, Texas, with a bid submission deadline of December 16, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access complete bid details and must submit responses through the designated online platform. The procurement requires strict adherence to specific freight and delivery terms, mandating FOB Destination shipping with freight costs included in the overall pricing. Vendors must submit comprehensive invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, including detailed line-item information such as purchase order number, item description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. All submissions are subject to DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which outline performance expectations, warranty requirements, and potential default termination provisions.

The procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor participation, suggesting open competition among qualified suppliers. Vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment requirements and provide certifications regarding non-association with foreign terrorist organizations and non-boycott of Israel. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of invoice or order. While specific award value is not disclosed, the technical specificity of the air horn assembly suggests a specialized procurement with potentially precise technical specifications. The opportunity requires vendors to demonstrate commercial warranty capabilities, guaranteeing merchantable quality and suitability for intended transit infrastructure use. Potential bidders should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, which provides comprehensive guidance on contractual expectations and performance standards for this procurement opportunity.
