About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is procuring a repair kit for an HVAC valve (Item 18-004-081) through this purchase order opportunity posted on April 20, 2026, with a submission deadline of April 27, 2026. The procurement is a straightforward goods purchase requiring vendors to submit bids through the Bonfire registration system, where detailed specifications and bid tables are accessible upon initiating the submission process. All bids must include FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs incorporated into the overall quoted price, and timely delivery is essential to order execution, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be made under Net 30 terms calculated from whichever is later: receipt of invoice or receipt of order. Vendors must comply with all provisions outlined in DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which govern the complete contractual relationship and establish DART's authority to make order modifications via written change notice, with sellers entitled to claim equitable adjustment within 30 days of receiving a change order.
The procurement documents do not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions limiting participation to particular vendor classifications such as disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or women-owned enterprises, suggesting the opportunity is open to all qualified vendors meeting DART's operational requirements. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation, and no specific technology integration requirements are detailed in the procurement notice. The documents do not disclose an award value or budget range for this repair kit procurement, leaving the contract value undetermined in the publicly available information. Vendors should note that DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes, and any such taxes inadvertently included on invoices will be deducted from payment amounts. All submissions must comply with Texas law, with disputes subject to venue in Dallas County, and vendors are required to acknowledge their understanding of and agreement with DART's commercial warranty requirements, inspection procedures, and termination rights.
