About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a Kit, Overhaul, C-D Digitrol Port (Contract Number 2099193) through a procurement opportunity posted on May 8, 2026, with a submission deadline of May 22, 2026. This purchase order procurement requires vendors to submit bids through the BONFIRE registration system, accessing the bid table to view complete project details and respond in designated vendor response fields. The procurement specifies that all bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Successful vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet strict delivery schedules, as time and rate of deliveries are essential contract requirements, with failure to meet specified delivery terms constituting grounds for order rejection and default termination. Vendors must provide commercial warranties ensuring supplies meet merchantable quality standards and comply with all specifications, and invoicing must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices payable 30 days from receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later, unless alternative terms are agreed upon in writing.
The procurement documents do not specify set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, women-owned businesses, or other protected classifications based on the available information. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the posting materials. The bid documents reference compliance with equal opportunity employment provisions, foreign terrorist organization certifications, and Israel boycott compliance requirements that all vendors must satisfy. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the publicly available procurement summary. Interested vendors should note that this procurement is subject to all terms and conditions outlined in DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, which includes indemnification requirements regarding conflicts of interest with DART officials and board members, and all vendors must complete the registration and preparation process in the BONFIRE system to access the complete bid table and project specifications.
