About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for KIT, OC-1-B Filter (Item 2097721) through a competitive procurement process posted on January 27, 2026, with a submission deadline of February 13, 2026. The procurement requires vendors to supply filter kits meeting DART's specifications, with delivery terms to be FOB Destination with freight costs included in the overall quoted price. Vendors must register on the Bonfire platform to access the detailed bid table, project specifications, and vendor response fields. Time and rate of delivery are essential contract elements, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for order rejection and default termination. All bids must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which govern the contractual relationship and establish the framework for vendor performance, payment processing, and dispute resolution.
The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, women-owned businesses, or other protected categories; however, all vendors must certify compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements and confirm that they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list or engaged in boycott activities against Israel. Payment terms are established at Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment made 30 days from invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later. The procurement documentation does not identify incumbent vendors, current contractors, or specific budget allocation ranges for this filter kit acquisition. Vendors should anticipate that the Contracting Officer may make changes to the order with written notice, and vendors may claim equitable adjustment within 30 days if such changes affect costs or performance timelines. All contractual matters are governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County.
