About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas, is seeking to procure a microphone mount kit for radio equipment, as indicated by reference number 2095983. The procurement opportunity requires potential vendors to register through the Bonfire platform to access complete bid details and submission requirements. The solicitation is specifically for a KIT, MICROPHONE MOUNT, RADIO, with strict delivery and performance expectations. Interested vendors must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs included in the overall price. The bid is due by December 2, 2025, and requires comprehensive documentation including purchase order details, item specifics, quantities, and unit pricing. Vendors must adhere to DART's specific invoice submission guidelines, which mandate triplicate invoice submissions to APInvoices@dart.org and include detailed purchase order information. Compliance with all specified technical requirements and performance standards is mandatory, with time and delivery rates considered essential to the contract award.
The procurement opportunity appears to have no specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises or minority-owned businesses. DART maintains standard payment terms of Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of invoice or order, whichever is later. Vendors must certify they do not boycott Israel and do not appear on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with contracts involving Foreign Terrorist Organizations. The contract includes provisions for termination for default, giving the Contracting Officer significant discretion in managing vendor performance. While the specific budget range is not explicitly detailed, the procurement suggests a standard equipment acquisition for radio communication infrastructure. Vendors must demonstrate capability to meet precise technical specifications and delivery timelines, with potential for order modification or termination based on performance standards outlined in the purchase order terms and conditions.
