About this opportunity

The state and local contract opportunity, identified as KIT, LEVELING VALVE | 2097216, is a procurement initiative issued by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) located in Dallas County, Texas. The specific procurement appears to be for a leveling valve kit, though precise technical specifications are not fully detailed in the provided documentation. Bonfire registration is required to access complete bid details, with interested vendors needing to initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process to view the full project specifications. The procurement opportunity was posted on December 19, 2025, with a response deadline of December 26, 2025. Key contractual terms include mandatory FOB Destination shipping, with freight costs required to be included in the overall pricing. DART emphasizes that time and rate of deliveries are critical, and failure to meet specified delivery requirements could result in order rejection or default termination.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises are explicitly mentioned in the available documentation. The procurement appears to be open to qualified vendors capable of meeting DART's technical and logistical requirements. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and requiring specific documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. While a specific budget range is not provided, the procurement follows standard DART purchase order terms and conditions, which include comprehensive commercial warranties and compliance requirements. Vendors must also provide certifications regarding terrorist organization affiliations and Israel boycott compliance. The contract will be governed under Texas law, with any potential disputes to be resolved through DART's Contracting Officer, with appeal rights available to the Authority.
